Production of sawn timber and pellets

Tayriku-Igirma Group LLC, part of Segezha Group, produces high-quality, dried sawn softwood. Over 90% of them are made of Baltic pine and Siberian larch.

The sawmill capacity stands at up to 1,400,000 cubic metres per year, while the sawn timber production is up to 650,000 cubic metres per year. The plant also produces fuel pellets, up to 100,000 tonnes per year.

State-of-the-art equipment at Tayriku-Igirma Group allows the company to create high-margin added-value wood processing materials and products. For example, the plant produces Taruki beams for the Japanese market, as well as high-quality, rot-resistant decking and floorboards that offer improved durability and excellent thermal and acoustic insulation.

Tayriku-Igirma Group has an annual allowable cut of approximately 3.8 million m3.

History

History

This company is young, having been set up in 2019. To produce added-value wood processing products, a new 8-chamber NARDI drying complex was put into operation in 2021. Another one, BG Holztechnik with 10 drying chambers, is under construction as of 2022. Thanks to the new facilities, all sawn timber will be dried down to shipping-dry condition.

At present, the company handles the entire production cycle, from raw material harvesting to downstream processing. Finished products are widely available in China, Japan, India, South Korea, Europe, the CIS and Russia.

Since December 2021, Tayriku-Igirma Group LLC has been part of Segezha Group, a Sistema company.
